Mistletoe May Hold Key to Cancer Research

A vital link in cancer research may be found in the Australian bush, according to researchers at the University of Canberra. Professor Luby Simson says that Australian mistletoe may help in treating blood-born cancers such as leukemia, whereas European mistletoe is more effective against tumors. Professor Simson is also doing work to enable European mistletoe to be used as an adjunct cancer therapy in Australia.
